Taking the gas out of Arabia.

GM’s Exhibit Zero: Arabia 2035 was a fully-immersive CGI experience that invited Dubai Expo 2021 visitors to see GM’s vision for an all-electric future. Utilizing a 44-meter long, 3-meter tall, 270º LED screen, visitors were transported to a photorealistic desert and future city in the year 2035.

Electrifying the skeptics.

We knew we couldn’t just talk to Arabs about our bold vision for an all-electric future, we needed them to experience it for themselves. So, we created one of the largest 1:1 scale CGI installations ever. In partnership with Bipolar Studios and Arabian futurist, AlAnoud Al Hashmi, we bridged the worlds of today and tomorrow in a photorealistic desert oasis and future city. We pushed the boundaries of CGI scale and acuity and got an entire region of skeptics to see themselves in a brighter future — a future made possible by GM’s electric vehicle innovation.

Drones to drown out the noise.

Dubai Expo is the place to see and be seen and the Emirati VIPs receive countless invitations from brands to attend. So that our invites didn’t get lost in the mail, we didn’t use the mail at all. Instead, we opted for special Drone drops, holographic cards and an exclusive NFT.

The show must go on. And on. And on.

Three days. Multiple vehicle reveals. Thousands of visitors. All in :60. This highlight reel shows a glimpse of our experience at Dubai Expo and vision for an All-electric Arabia. But as the saying goes, “you really had to be there.”
